**RESPONSIBILITIES**
You will work within a team focused on test facility development and technical improvement projects, while maintaining existing capabilities:
+ Co-ordinating projects based around infrastructure and technology used in testing and development activity.
+ Developing and applying practical skillset through resolution of equipment or facility troubleshooting.
+ Communicating with engineering teams around ongoing test and development projects.
+ Working with global teams on upcoming Cummins technology.
+ Developing capabilities and use cases of measurement equipment and transducers, used for emissions or mechanical characteristics of system performance
**QUALIFICATIONS**
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
+ We are looking for a wide range of students currently with a background in engineering or another STEM-related subject is beneficial.
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn new skills.
+ An understanding of engine or powertrain system fundamentals would be an advantage however training will be provided for all industry specific skills required for the role
+ Good Microsoft Office skills are required including Excel, skills would also be beneficial although are not essential.

You will be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and engaging top talent to building strong relationships with key clients within the technology industry. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in recruitment, exceptional sales and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the technology market. You will be adept at identifying client needs, developing effective recruitment strategies, and delivering high-quality candidates to meet demanding hiring requirements. Responsibilities include:
  • Managing and growing a portfolio of technology clients, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Sourcing, screening, and interviewing high-calibre candidates for technology roles.
  • Building and maintaining a strong network of technology professionals.
  • Negotiating and closing offers, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate and client experience.
  • Developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Conducting market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to enhance employer branding initiatives.
  • Achieving and exceeding agreed-upon sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Providing market insights and consultative advice to clients.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior consultants within the team.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant recruitment legislation and best practices.
  • Utilizing recruitment CRM systems effectively to manage pipelines and candidate data.
  • Representing our client at networking events and industry functions.
  • Developing strong client relationships built on trust and delivery.
  • Understanding technical requirements and translating them into effective recruitment strategies.
  • Managing the offer process from negotiation to acceptance.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in recruitment, with a significant focus on the technology sector, is required. A proven ability to deliver against sales targets and build a successful desk is essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills are a must. This hybrid role requires presence in our Sunderland office, with the flexibility to work remotely for a portion of the week, fostering a balance of teamwork and individual focus.
