We are looking for a skilled engineer with field repair experience to join us as the Technical Support Engineer (Field Based) for all Home Entertainment products.
LGEUK is an ever growing company in the market place; as such the ability to manage change in line with this growth is the key to its future success, through continuous development in customer service offering.
LGEUK service relies heavily upon a small number of product specific service providers who carry out a high percentage of the total repair volume.
The management of these repairers is critical, with regular reporting or KPI management required. Some areas of the service dept can interface with repairers and this can lead to confusion on both parts regarding the correct contact points for any specific issues.
As LGEUK grows within the market there will be an increasing need to optimise its current repair network, bringing with it the need for reliable controlled evaluation of prospective new companies. Working with the Service Network Manager, Customer Service Operation Team Leader and Customer Service Director, part of your remit will be ensuring that our customers receive continued high level quality service.
The position is based at our Weybridge Head Office with travel required to our warehouse in Milton Keynes. Additional travel will be required a few times a year to the European Service Academy (EU training centre is in Holland), the European TV manufacturing plant in Poland and to our training academy in Korea every 2 years.
Role & Responsibilities
- To act as the main contact point between the major Authorised repair Companies (ASCs) and LGEUK
- To monitor, report and influence the performance of ASC’s
- To develop the repair network as required.
- To develop existing KPI reporting from ASC’s
- To ensure ASC’s perform against contracts and agreed KPI’s
- Understand and react to Service scorecard results.
- Be pro-active and look for opportunities to improve.
- To Identify and bring new ASC’s on line as required by the business.
- To act as a single point of contact for the ASC network.
- To review and rationalise small repairers.
- Liaise and work with WIP team colleagues daily in order to facilitate quick efficient job management.
- Be able to support when required other Service members with activities like job management, conference calls, shared knowledge etc
- Some technical understanding and ability is desirable but the role should not include the need to physically repair products.
- Travel to all areas of the UK should be expected, so the candidate must hold a relatively clean driving license and be flexible in working hours and patterns.

As CTO of Hynamics UK, you will be accountable for the technical and technological integrity of the company’s hydrogen activities, across the full lifecycle: business development, project development, engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, and optimisation.
You will ensure that technical excellence and industrial performance are embedded into all phases of the project pipeline—from the evaluation and validation of offers and technical solutions, through safe and cost-effective delivery, to the reliable and sustainable operation of hydrogen assets. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining Hynamics UK’s technology roadmap in alignment with the Group’s wider strategy, ensuring the adoption of best-in-class hydrogen production, compression, storage, and distribution technologies.
You will oversee the selection and integration of process technologies (e.g. electrolyser technologies, balance-of-plant components), lead technical risk assessment and mitigation efforts, and ensure full compliance with applicable UK and international regulations and standards. A key part of your role will involve guiding innovation and digitalisation efforts in engineering and operations (e.g. automation, remote O&M, data platforms).
You will lead a team of technical specialists and project engineers, while also developing and managing a high-performance ecosystem of industrial partners (OEMs, EPCs, engineering firms, and technology providers). Your network will include both internal EDF Group entities and external industry stakeholders across the hydrogen value chain.
You will report to the CEO of Hynamics UK and work in close coordination with the CTO of Hynamics Group in Paris. You will be a key member of the Hynamics UK Leadership Team, actively participating in all strategic decisions and contributing directly to the development of both the UK and Group-wide industrial strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Leadership
- Lead the technical organisation of Hynamics UK, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and project priorities.
- Build, develop, and manage a high-performing team of engineers and technical specialists to support the full lifecycle of hydrogen infrastructure assets.
- Promote a strong industrial safety culture and embed technical excellence across all activities.
Technology and Innovation

Compliance, Safety & Quality

- Lead the capture and application of lessons learned and technical feedback from live projects and operational assets.
Candidate Profile
- Postgraduate qualification in engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience in large industrial or energy infrastructure projects, with substantial exposure to the chemical industry or industrial gases.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale industrial facilities (>£100 million CAPEX) across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
- Deep understanding of hydrogen technologies, especially electrolyser systems, gas compression, storage, and transport.
- Demonstrated experience in leading technical organisations and multidisciplinary teams.

What will I be doing?
As the Technology Solutions Intern. You will be part of the team which oversees applications that enable a business to operate (Find Clients, Sell Opportunities, invoice, analyse and report) We provide Universal International Studios (UIS) and International Networks business's IT Leadership, Support and Guidance.
Working within the Technology Solutions team, you work on and ultimately own several tasks and activities that the group provide to our business users through Three core functions.
Operations: Support our business partners through knowledge of their systems, processes, challenges and drivers. Business Process: Work with Stakeholders to understand and document their current challenges & find ways using existing technology to solve those pain points Log and track enhancement requests, by engaging with relevant teams.
Enterprise IT & Media Operations Engagement: Provide assurance that technical solutions recommended are in line with Enterprise roadmaps and strategy and meet cyber and compliance controls.

**Responsibilities** :
+ Monitor client's critical application performance and availability.
+ Summarize and review performance trends in operations status meetings.
+ Assist client staff in the troubleshooting and root-cause diagnosis of performance issues.
+ Maintain and enhance dashboards and reports to meet requirements of IT and business users.
+ On-board additional applications for monitoring Mentor and train customers on the Dynatrace Platform and Best Practices.
+ Provide services that maintain and grow the adoption of the Dynatrace Platform in customer environments.
+ Provide regular status updates and project documentation to support efforts at customer engagements.
+ Assist sales team in identifying new opportunities for product and services at customer sites.
+ Ensure health of the client's Dynatrace Platform deployment and update software with any necessary service packs.
+ Maintain accurate deployment documentation.
**Travel Requirements:**
+ Most Dynatrace Services client engagements are mid to long-term assignments at a single client location and usually do not require travel. However, in those cases, relocation or working remotely may be required.
**What will help you succeed**
**Minimim Experiance:**
+ 2+ years IT working experience in the areas of Application Performance Management, application monitoring, network administration, system administration, performance engineering / testing, or Java/.NET development.
+ 1+ years of experience in software engineering and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
+ 1+ years of solid enterprise level .NET or Java development/support/operations.
+ 1+ years of experience in web programming: JavaScript, AJAX and other JavaScript frameworks Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
+ Experience with application technologies (J2EE, .NET, Citrix, Microservices).
+ Experience with database technologies (Oracle, DB2, MS SQL).
+ Good understanding of distributed applications.
+ Good understanding of web and enterprise applications.
+ Ability to address complex application environments to provide customers with clear guidance on implementation strategy and potential performance improvements.
+ Excellent organizational/time management skills.
+ Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and a passion to learn new technology.
+ Must have solid presentation and writing skills as well as experience with creating professional reports and deliverables.
+ Must be a highly motivated energetic self-starter who excels in fast-paced, dynamic, team environments and committed to getting results.
