Role Summary

Seeking a Test Lead to take end-to-end ownership of testing across multiple component teams for a commercial insurance program. The role requires hands-on experience in integration testing, API/web service testing (JSON/SOAP), and strong stakeholder management. Deep understanding of basic commercial insurance concepts is mandatory. Automation experience with Selenium is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Own E2E test strategy, planning, execution, and release readiness across multiple component teams.

Define and drive integration testing approach between services/systems and ensure coverage for cross-team flows.

Design, develop and execute functional, regression and integration test suites; ensure defects are tracked, triaged, and closed

Validate APIs and message formats using JSON and SOAP; create and execute tests with SoapUI (or equivalent).

Coordinate with product owners, architects, developers, and operations to identify and resolve system-level issues and manage dependencies.

Establish test metrics, dashboards and quality gates for release decisions and continuous improvement.

Mentor and guide manual and automation testers; review test artifacts and ensure best practices.

Participate in release planning, risk assessments and post-release validation.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience leading E2E/integration testing across multiple component teams in a complex program.

Strong hands-on experience with API/web service testing (JSON, SOAP).

Proficient with SoapUI (or similar tools) for SOAP and REST testing.

Solid understanding of commercial insurance concepts and common product flows.

Strong stakeholder management, communication and cross-team coordination skills.
