**Job Summary:**
The Senior Expert Transportation Management role is a key and influencing role within the NTT Data Digital Core Practice. The successful candidate will be part of a wider team responsible for the design and implementation of SAP solutions to our customer base and to meet our customer's needs. As a Senior Expert you will support customer engagements and perform delivery of the Transportation Management solutions working alongside Transportation Management Solution Architects, Project Managers and the Integration Team to deliver innovative and high quality solutions integrated with and embedded into core S4Hana solutions.
**Duties/Responsibilities:**
-Support Transportation Management Solution Architect to work closely with customer and NTT Data sales and business development teams to assist in the translation of business requirements into a solution that takes advantage of the Transportation Management capabilities supporting the architecting of Transportation Management within the overall solution landscape. This will include collaboratively compiling statements of works to support any stage of the sales and deal review processes. Leads and co-ordinates integrated workshops with detail and complexity with Senior Stakeholders in the customer business.
-Provide thought leadership to NTT Data and its customers focused on Supply Chain strategy specifically in the Transportation Management solutions and the Transportation Management road map
-Act as the design authority on the projects ensuring the quality and integrity of Transportation Management solutions being implemented is aligned to industry best practice
-Adhering to the agreed NTT Data strategy, engage in self-directed and other learning to keep pace with new technologies and developments to ensure NTT Data remains at the forefront of the market within which we operate. Share, use and communicate expert knowledge in order to develop others and make business processes more effective.
-Recognise potential for repeat and extended business with respect to end-to-end service offer by NTT Data and provide comprehensive input. Support NTT Data to grow our business by being alert to the customer opportunities that present themselves.

Supply Chain Coordinator

Cheshire

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator to Join a well-established client of ours. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in planning or supply chain. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects client sales orders, customer demands and capacity plans.

We are looking for a confident and highly organised individual who thrives working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

  • Processing customer forecast plans using MS Excel
  • Regular client liaison via telephone, e-mail and face-to-face meetings to establish future orders and ongoing demand challenges.
  • Responsible for creating shortage lists for orders and identifying material shortages and finding a resolution.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, holding regular review meetings to establish whats going well and what challenges are being faced. 
  • Ensuring all orders are entered correctly on the system, ensuring the details are highly accurate.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the business regarding clients sales orders.
  • Master Data activity - management of customer category lists.
  • Manage clear stocks to ensure there is no obsolete stock.
  • Resolve Order shortfalls by consultation with the supply chain and Sales teams.
  • Leading weekly/monthly/quarterly demand review meetings with customers and sale manager
  • Driving process Improvements with internal departments and key customers.
  • system maintenance ensuring data is updated accurately.
  • Responsible for generating reports and presenting the data to clients on a monthly basis.
  • Recording all incoming orders and daily customer call-offs and entering these in automated systems    
  • Proactively managing customer needs and expectations, ensuring alignment with demand & capacity plans.
  • Daily administration tasks in relation to client orders, returns, materials and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Education Level: 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English at C Grade or above.
  • MS Office – good working knowledge of Word/ Excel / PowerPoint.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP.( not essential)
  • demonstrate related experience within a fast paced environment is desirable.
  • A flexible approach to work content in-line with day to day requirements.
  • Evidence of self-motivation, an ability to use your own initiative and attention to detail is essential.
  • Proven proactive approach

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business that is looking for a confident and proactive Supply Chain Administrator to join their small, hands-on team.

This is a varied and fast-paced role that goes beyond traditional admin. You'll be involved in everything from scheduling and purchasing to audits and site maintenance support. It's ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, is inquisitive by nature, and enjoys taking ownership of their work.

The business values people who are willing to get involved, ask questions, and support other departments when needed. A strong, resilient personality and a willingness to learn are key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule daily work orders and communicate plans clearly to all departments
  • Purchase raw materials based on production needs
  • Procure non-stock site requirements such as PPE and service contracts
  • Complete administrative close-out of work orders
  • Conduct weekly audits across quality, health & safety, and environmental standards
  • Maintain and track repairs and maintenance records using the red label system
  • Issue monthly planned maintenance tasks and ensure accurate logging
  • Provide daily backup support to the site's shipping function
  • Support wider site operations through ad hoc projects and duties as required

Candidate Requirements:

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Previous Supply Chain / Purchasing Administration experience is required
  • Experience with planning, scheduling, or purchasing processes
  • Oracle JDE system experience is highly desirable
  • Basic health and safety knowledge is beneficial (training can be provided)

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, able to work well with multiple departments
  • Comfortable juggling priorities and handling pressure in a small team
  • Eager to learn and able to pick up new systems and processes quickly
  • Positive, resilient, and solution-focused approach

  • You MUST be flexible to support in all areas of the business and be flexible with working hours
  • Holidays are taken during fixed company shutdown periods (e.g. summer and Christmas)
