We're looking for a dynamic and organised Higher Education Administrator to provide vital administrative support within the Financial Markets Group and the Initiative in Sustainable Finance at the Global School of Sustainability. This is a fantastic temporary opportunity to enhance your skills while contributing to impactful projects!
Position Details:
- Contract Type: Temporary
- Hours: 17.5 to 21 hours per week (
- Location: Holborn
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 19th December 2025 (with the possibility of extension)
Key Dates:
- 29th September: 9.00am or 9.30am to 8.30pm
- 29th October: 8.00am to 2.00pm
- 5th November: Evening until 8.30pm
- 18th November: Evening until 8.30pm
- 4th December: Evening until 8.30pm
- 5th December: 8.00am to 6.30pm
- W/C 15th December: Half-day conference (date TBC)
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Higher Education Administrator, your role will involve a mix of office coordination, communications, and event support. Here's a sneak peek at your key responsibilities:
Office Coordination:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Centre team.
- Act as a go-to contact for students, staff, and visitors.
- Manage the publication process for working papers and conference proceedings.
- Handle expenses claims, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Maintain an organised and efficient office environment.
Communications:
- Collaborate with academics to create and share content across various platforms.
- Develop and maintain engaging webpages for the Centre and its projects.
Events Coordination:
- Support the planning and execution of conferences, seminars, and public events.
- Serve as the primary contact for speakers and delegates, ensuring seamless communication.
- organise travel and accommodation for participants.
- Maintain accurate records of events, including attendance and costs.
