Zachary Daniels are working with a retail brand to appoint a Warehouse Performance Manager to be based on site in Leeds. This role will initially be on a 6 month FTC with the possibility to become permanent.
Please note, this will be a standalone role working with a small in house team on a large 3PL site.
The Role
We're looking for a proactive, hands-on Warehouse Performance Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our 3PL-run warehouse. You'll work closely with our logistics partner and internal teams to drive performance, improve processes, and ensure operational excellence across all retail, e-commerce, wholesale, and concession channels.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with our 3PL partner to ensure SLA performance and service delivery.
Monitor daily operations, identify bottlenecks, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Own inbound, outbound, inventory and reverse logistics processes.
Collaborate with head office to provide clear reporting and updates on warehouse KPIs.
Support peak trading periods and strategic planning.
Ensure alignment between 3PL operations and commercial goals.
Focus Areas
Inbound: Manage intake accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and oversee QC.
Inventory: Maintain stock integrity, optimise space, and improve picking efficiency.
Outbound: Ensure timely, accurate deliveries to stores, customers, and wholesale partners.
Returns: Oversee returns from retail, e-commerce, and B2B channels.
Reporting: Deliver clear, data-driven insights to key stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Experience managing warehouse performance in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment
Strong background in 3PL and retail logistics
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/WMS platforms (Blue Yonder a plus)
Confident communicator with a solutions-focused approach
Track record of driving efficiency and performance improvements
Ideally be immediately available and ready to start asap

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
