The role:

My client is seeking a professional to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring processes are carried out in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner. The role focuses on driving continuous improvements across warehousing functions to enhance overall efficiency, streamline operations, and contribute to increased profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all warehouse operations comply with company policies, procedures, and industry standards
  • Work closely with Operations and Transport teams to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements
  • Oversee the safe and efficient loading and unloading of Pallet Force vehicles
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers regarding storage solutions and service provision

  • Allocate staff effectively to reduce delays and optimise workflow
  • Record and report any damages to cargo or company property promptly
  • Support the ongoing training and development of warehouse staff
  • Ensure systems and records are updated promptly and correctly
  • Work in line with ISO standards and contribute to compliance
  • Manage and approve staff holiday requests while ensuring operational coverage
  • Oversee and coordinate staff shift patterns, including split shifts
  • Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Conduct weekly bay checks and provide updates on outstanding cargo
  • Guarantee that all pick-and-pack contracts are fulfilled on time and in full
