You will be responsible for a caseload and will need to be experienced in completing Safeguarding Adult Enquiries, assessments, and reviews in a timely manner with older people. Have experience of record keeping procedures, working as a member of a team and have very good organisational skills.
You will also be experienced in working to tight timescales and commissioning cost effective personalised support to meet the assessed needs of the service users as part of the reviewing process. Managing Safeguarding as part of Making Safeguarding Personal is part of the role and this can be offered as a development opportunity for the post holder.
You would be joining our established team of person centred, passionate, enthusiastic, and committed Social Work and Social Care Practitioners. You will be providing structured, positive supervision to social workers and CCO, providing support in complex case work.
You will be responsible for supporting the development of good, evidence-based practice particularly in the key areas of risk enablement, safeguarding, the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act, Court of Protection work.

Key responsibilities
Maintenance Planning & SAP Functions
- Develop, update, and manage maintenance plans and work orders in SAP (PM/MM modules).
- Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities in coordination with production teams.
- Ensure proper bill of materials (BOMs), task lists, and equipment master data are maintained.
- Monitor backlog, resource availability, and material readiness for upcoming jobs.
- Generate SAP reports (e.g., work order completion, material usage, maintenance KPIs).
- Liaise with production and engineering colleagues to ensure timely material availability for planned work.
- Monitor and control bookings onto SAP MM by the engineering team to ensure intervention records are accurate and that materials are correctly consumed.
Stores & Inventory Control
- Manage material stock locations and ensure accurate descriptions in SAP.
- Receive, inspect, and issue materials, tools, and spare parts in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate stock levels in SAP and perform cycle counts or stocktakes as required.
- Track and record all stock movements and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
- Investigate inventory inaccuracies and discrepancies, communicate findings to Finance.
- Minimise overstocks and lead the removal of redundant and obsolete materials.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and assist with optimization initiatives.
- Control "stock below minimum" occurrences and chase late materials impacting production or engineering.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics for delivery schedules and returns.
- Work with suppliers on lead time, cost, and optimum stocking arrangements for normal and critical materials in conjunction with the SW Finance team.
Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure all stock locations are accurately maintained in SAP
- Minimise overstock and support the removal of redundant materials
- Support subcontractor management and documentation processes
- Assist Engineering and Production teams with efficient stock control

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- An ability to work to the Company’s Health & Safety system and promote improvements to it when required

Our Associate Funeral Directors are expected to step in and conduct funerals in the absence of the Funeral Director, whilst at other times, working to ensure that all other operational tasks are completed including stepping into all funeral operative duties.
What you’ll be doing
Accountability 1 – Service
• When conducting a funeral, carry out all necessary duties to ensure that each funeral ‘goes to plan’. This will include the completion of internal and statutory paperwork, liaising with third parties (such as Crematoriums + Ministers), liaising with funeral arrangers prior to the funeral and completing pre-funeral checks.
• To conduct funeral services at a variety of locations, as required. When conducting a funeral, to be the point of contact for clients and families throughout the service, as well as to colleagues, who will need relevant direction and/or instruction.
• When conducting a funeral, to be responsible for the route the cortege follows, ensure that the hearse is stocked and that all relevant paperwork required for the service is available.
• When conducting a funeral, to be responsible for all final checks and adherence to procedures, including the identification of the deceased, as well as the presentation of the funeral team and vehicles.
• At times, prepare and dress the deceased, including moving them to rest in their coffin. • To bring the deceased in to our care, sometimes in challenging circumstances. Ensure that at this point, as well as throughout the deceased’s time in our care, relevant identification checks and procedures are adhered to, (including the safeguarding of personal effects).
Accountability 2 – Standards & Compliance
• To be responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises, including back of house (including the garage, transit, preparation and mortuary areas).
