• Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle safely and efficiently for local and potentially long-distance deliveries.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers, adhering to specified schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
• Load and unload goods as required, ensuring proper securing of the load.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and any other required documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally.
• Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations immediately.
• Manage delivery routes effectively to optimize time and fuel consumption.
• Maintain a clean and presentable driving record.

• Valid UK Class 1 (HGV C+E) driving license.
• Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) card.
• Valid Digi-card (tachograph card).
• A clean driving record with no major endorsements or convictions.
• Proven experience as a Class 1 driver.
• Good knowledge of current driving regulations and road safety standards.
• Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading duties.
