Senior BI Analyst – Analytics Engineering Team

We’re looking for a Senior BI Analyst to join our Analytics Engineering team. In this role, you’ll partner with BI platform users and engineering teams to enable self-serve decision-making through reporting and actionable insights, while making our data models more performant.

Sitting at the intersection of Analytics Engineering and Insights, you’ll support data scientists and business users to become more self-sufficient, helping to further data literacy across the organization.

  • Ability to explain complex topics clearly and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working autonomously to deliver features and influence the team’s roadmap.
  • Experience in fast-changing environments, ideally in e-commerce or marketplace domains, understanding metrics like GMV, conversion rates, and user retention.
  • Familiarity with data engineering principles and ELT pipelines, including communicating requirements to data engineers.
  • Skilled in building reports, dashboards, and integrations that communicate insights clearly.

What you’ll do

  • Provide end-user support in Looker for both data producers and consumers.
  • Design and deliver training and guidance to improve self-serve BI adoption.
  • Clean up, standardize, and shift-left Looker definitions into the data stack, simplifying the instance, improving performance, and reducing reliance on manual code changes.
