Role Summary: The post-Productivity R&D Organisation continues to call out the need to drive greater speed and agility. An ambitious multi-faceted digital transformation agenda is a critical element in realising this ambition vision as well as providing a platform to seize new business opportunities through the power of digital. This key role is explicitly positioned to shape and lead the X-BG digital transformation agenda delivering real impact in the Packaging function through the digitalisation of core workflows aligned to a synchronised change management agenda across Packaging within R&D and beyond. This should be wholly aligned and consistent with the same agenda across the wider R&D community and indeed into the BGs as a way to identify and realise new business relevant digital opportunities. Main Accountabilities:
+ Driving the holistic digital X-BG transformation agenda in Packaging.
+ Lead the internal digital engagement with key stakeholders and partner functions most especially DRD , IT and BG Digital Leads to deliver better, faster and more impactful digital transformation initiatives.
+ Drive the alignment between business needs/priorities and resourcing to enable the definition of a realistic yet impactful program.
+ Lead X-BG Digital strategic ecosystem build and exploitation into OPC and BG programs.
+ Lead the 'Amplifying Intelligence' digital theme across BGs and within OPC.
+ Define and Lead the Digital change management strategy within OPC to realise a digital-first mindset.
+ Lead the Data Science capability within OPC.
+ Define & own the business case for X-BG Digital transformation program including core KPIs.
+ Build fit for purpose Packaging data management strategy and execution plan.
+ Ensure full alignment of Digital Transformation program to X-BG Packaging priorities.
+ Identify and exploit resource leverage opportunities with partners and funding bodies into digital at a X-BG level.
Experiences and Skills required:
+ Fully operational in change management techniques and tools
+ Excellent communication and networking skills
+ Excellent track record in building external collaborations and ecosystem partnerships in the digital arena.
+ Expertise in stakeholder management and building high performing extended teams.
