Job Overview

You will provide emotional support and guidance via digital mediums, primarily email, video call, livechat and SMS, to clients. You will complete risk assessments and work in line with the BACP code of ethics - ensuring the highest level of service and support is provided to all service users.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Providing an efficient and effective digital counselling service to all service users working in line with clinical governance.
  • To effectively answer queries and triage to determine the most appropriate type of support required, i.e. advice, counselling etc.
  • Demonstrating an ability to work with a variety of individuals and presenting issues, including those who are distressed.
  • Responding to all web enquiries and tailor responses to meet individual requirements.
  • Providing "In the moment support" to service users via the Live Chat function and Live Video Calls

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  • Minimum diploma level 4 in Counselling & minimum of 150 counselling hours
  • 12 months post qualification experience
  • Registered member of the BACP
  • Relevant telephone experience
  • High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Desirable Skills and Competencies:

  • Accredited with the BACP or eligible for the accreditation process
  • EAP experience
  • Experience of working within a target driven environment

This role will play a pivotal part in managing and delivering digital transformation projects, responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of projects by meeting our clients' objectives while working as part of an integrated team. Leading on day-to-day project activities, ensuring timely delivery, within budget and to the high quality expected by our clients. Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of digital transformation projects, ensuring effective planning, execution and delivery of agreed outputs.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standards.
  • Proactively identify project risks, challenges and dependencies, and develop mitigation plans to keep projects on track.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with key client stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project.
  • Ensure that client expectations are clearly understood and managed, with regular updates on project progress, risks and changes.

  • Assist clients in establishing governance structures and processes that support the ongoing management of digital transformation efforts.

Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance:

  • Continuously monitor project performance, providing recommendations for process improvements and adjustments as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of SmartCo Future Healths project delivery methodologies, tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness across all projects.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, quality standards and regulatory requirements in all aspects of project delivery.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk logs and any other required materials.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports for senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency around progress, challenges and any deviations from the plan.
  • Support the development of business cases, proposals and other documentation as needed.

Skills & Characteristics

Project Management Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience managing and delivering digital transformation projects, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid, and the ability to adapt these methodologies to the needs of each project.

Healthcare Knowledge:

  • Good understanding of the NHS/Healthcare industry, including healthcare IT systems (e.g., Electronic Patient Record (EPR), telemedicine, healthcare analytics) and relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities associated with digital transformation in healthcare organisations.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, fostering a spirit of collaboration and trust.
