• Provide direct care and support to elderly residents, assisting with personal care, mobility, medication administration, and daily living activities.
• Act as a lead member of the care team, supervising and guiding junior support workers.

• SVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification.
• Significant experience (5+ years) working as a Support Worker in elderly care, with proven leadership capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of care planning, medication management, and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent understanding of the specific needs and challenges faced by the elderly.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and observation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and basic IT skills.
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle may be advantageous for certain duties.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
