Our client, a rapidly growing online retailer, is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior E-commerce & Social Media Marketing Manager to lead their digital marketing efforts in London, England, UK . This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to drive online sales, enhance brand visibility, and foster strong customer engagement across e-commerce platforms and social media channels. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, analytics, and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement integrated e-commerce and social media marketing strategies to achieve sales and brand awareness objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of the company's e-commerce presence, including website optimisation, user experience, and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
  • Oversee the creation and execution of engaging content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter).
  • Develop and manage paid social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance analysis.
  • Utilise SEO and SEM best practices to drive organic and paid traffic to the e-commerce website.
  • Analyse website traffic, sales data, and social media metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, campaign creation, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with creative teams, product managers, and customer service to ensure cohesive brand messaging and customer experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce and social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in e-commerce and social media marketing, with at least 3 years in a management or senior role.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns that drive online sales and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), SEO, SEM, PPC, and email marketing.
  • Expertise in social media marketing, content creation, and community management.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, social media analytics tools, and e-commerce reporting dashboards.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation techniques.
  • A passion for the retail industry and digital innovation.
