Are you an experienced procurement professional with a passion for IT and indirect services? We’re looking for a dynamic IT/Indirect Procurement Officer to join our team at our modern offices in Thorpe Park, Leeds.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering value across a wide range of third-party contracts, with a strong focus on IT and indirect procurement. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure optimal value for money, minimise risk, and drive continuous improvement across procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure IT and indirect goods/services, ensuring value for money and quality.
- Lead competitive tendering processes and negotiate commercial and contractual terms.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements across the business.
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve contractual disputes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet procurement needs.
- Maintain procurement systems and support compliance with company policies.
- Work alongside HSEQ teams to ensure a safe and high-quality supply chain.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Minimum CIPS Level 4 (working towards Level 6).
- Experience: Strong background in IT procurement, ideally within complex or regulated industries such as engineering, infrastructure, or manufacturing.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and e-tendering systems.
- Knowledge of contract law, cyber security, and data protection.
Additional Information
This role may be subject to Security Clearance in line with government and regulatory requirements.
