**Programme description**
We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.
We're committed to teaching you the ropes and then some. During the programme, you will study for a BSc (Hons) Financial Technology Apprenticeship qualification. Aside from your peer group and manager, you will have a buddy and a dedicated programme manager. You will have access to first class technical and business training from well-established team, plus Citi's online training portal.
Side by side job shadowing and coaching with your team will be combined with the opportunity to work with counterparts in one of the world's largest investment banks. You will gain valuable insight into the workings of a large global, financial Markets business. You will have exposure to a range of sales and trading activities and work with new and cutting-edge technologies.
Your Day will look something like this.
Assignments change each year based on the business needs of the teams. Below are some examples:
+ Data analysis - using business knowledge to assist with data analysis, identifying patterns and areas for investigation.
+ Control Execution - running controls to ensure the smooth operation of sales and trading activity.
+ Collaboration - meeting with colleagues discussing challenges and coming up with solutions
+ Organisational and operational efficiency improvements - Nobody likes to repeat the same actions every day and click the same buttons, so our apprentices get involved in efficiency improvements to see where tasks can be automated or streamlined to free their time to get involved in exciting projects!
**Qualifications**
**We want to hear from you if.**
+ You have 5 GCSEs including Maths with a minimum grade B/C (or equivalent) and English Language with a minimum grade C (or equivalent)
+ You have A level grades BCC including A level Maths (or equivalent) or A level grades BBC without A level Maths (or equivalent)
+ You may also meet the course entry requirements with combinations of different qualifications to the same standard (provided subject requirements are met)
Successful applicants will be enrolled on to the Ulster University Financial Technology BSc (Hons) Part-time Undergraduate course

**Role Overview:**
Individuals in Operational Risk establish and manage operational risk policies, propose strategies, and governance processes designed to minimize losses from inadequate controls, fraud, and potential bankruptcy. These individuals are also responsible for the development of tools and infrastructure that support fraud monitoring and prevention, using advanced analytical and statistical skills to identify policy gaps and recommend changes to current policies. **What you'll be doing:**
+ Manage WITA External Information Systems - Entitlements Only (EIS-EO) Applications, acting as the main point of contact for the application and responsible for the upkeep of their CSI record to reflect any changes to the underlying application.
+ Support PBIO on risk remediation including resolution to issues and CAPs.
+ SME user of the application, who would know who to contact to answer specific questions on the application, and/or answering the questions themselves.
+ Reaches out to the Vendor if required to initiate support activities
+ Responsible for meeting the technical requirements of their Information System.
+ Represent business leadership to coordinate and facilitate Third-Party Risk Management activities.
+ Evaluate current market conditions and provide insight on trends/issues that could impact the business by external third parties.
+ Advise the BAO on risk assessment for third parties and reassess as required; identify significant relationship changes to trigger risk assessment updates.
+ Verify compliance of third parties with required policies and controls.
+ Partner with business operations, technology teams, and internal functions to conduct on-site visits of third parties, as required.
+ Maintain and update Citi's Exit Strategy Plans as required; collaborate with business contacts to establish risk mitigation activities when the exit strategy poses significant risk to Citi.
+ Interact with third parties on escalations of non-performance and contractual issues to drive resolution when appropriate.
+ Monitor third party performance and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) through Citi Performance Management Assessment (PMA) process.
+ Verify proper execution and upload of Third-Party contracts (e.g., Statements of Work) in Citi's Contract Management System (eSourcing), collaborate with the Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) organization if renegotiations are required.
+ Review, prioritize, assess, and act on results of Third-Party Risk Management assessments/controls with support from various internal functions, in conjunction with business and operations teams.

+ Actively managing and maintaining a deal closing pipeline of loan transactions

Markets Operations Technology is part of Citi Markets Technology and provides foundational Post Trade activities for Markets. We own platforms across Trade Management, Settlement, Payments, Confirmations, Asset Servicing, Margin & Reporting across all business lines and asset classes. Ours is a global remit and organisation providing mission critical platforms that face internal and external clients.
A highly motivated Business Analyst is required to lead requirements, design and implementation for critical cross functional changes impacting our Markets Operations partners. **Role Overview/What will you do:**
This role will manage requirements, dependencies, communication and engagement across multiple areas to define and drive a holistic solution. A broad understanding of Markets products and lifecycles with the ability to quickly grasp detail is essential. Our stakeholders and partners are based at Citi sites globally.
Core activities will be to:
+ Requirements Elicitation: Gather and analyze business requirements, translating strategic objectives into tangible deliverables and measurable outcomes.
