Role: IT Project & Support Engineer (3rd Line)

A Managed Service Provider is looking for an experienced Engineer to join their team, acting as the key point of escalation for complex issues and taking charge of project delivery. This role is highly technical and hands-on, involving client site visits as well as office-based work. Unlike typical support roles, this position focuses mainly on managing and implementing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on projects across networking & virtualisation.
- Configure and maintain cloud solutions.
- Coordinate and deliver workplace platform rollouts such as Microsoft 365, Teams, Intune, and related cloud applications.
- Act as a point of escalation from the 1st/2nd Line.
- Create clear, detailed technical documentation for internal teams and client handovers.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working within an MSP environment is essential.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including firewalls, LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPNs, routing and switching.
- Hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware.
