I have been working with this school for over many years and have an excellent relationship with them. I have placed many teachers into the school and they all have very positive things to say about their time there. The school really look after their staff both permanent and temporary.
I am looking for a DT teacher who wants a new challenge and wants to be part of a strong department. The job is a full time position, and the school are looking for someone specialising in Resistant Material, Graphics and Design. It will be teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils, planning and marking will be required.
This job will start after Easter.
As a full time DT teacher I expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff so I expect the following;
* Teach DT to KS3 & KS4 level. Knowledge of Resistant Materials, Graphics is essential.
* Assess, mark and plan lessons .
* Assess achievements of pupils.
* Provide progress reports and attend parents evenings & dept meetings.

Required to start after the summer break, this popular school seek an enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher for full time posts (though part time hours would be considered). The roles require a Design Technology Teacher who is able to teach engaging and dynamic lessons in the subject. Ideally candidates will work well with staff and have the ability to inspire able and motivated students.

The Role

Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Inspection:

We are looking for a Project Manufacturing Engineer - Welding Technology for a 24 month contract contract based in Solihull (onsite 5 days per week) on behalf of our client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.
As a Project Manufacturing Engineer you will be supporting the development of the next generation of manufacturing technologies improving Hydro-mech & Fuel Spray Nozzle manufacturing processes. You will be involved in the identification, development and deployment of innovative and game-changing manufacturing processes, you will be required to work closely with the Integrated Project Team, the Producibility teams, facility support teams and the new facility projects teams, to ensure a coherent delivery of the manufacturing processes to support the current and future products within the current and new facilities.
As a Project Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing new or enhanced manufacturing processes, digital systems, and technologies, while maintaining strict process controls and ensuring optimal resource management.
- Deliver the manufacturing method for engine assembly ensuring compliance to design and quality requirements. Work across functions to ensure good design for assembly and rate capable processes are delivered for flight compliance and production engines across the product family.
- Ensure that our manufacturing processes are fully compliant with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, maintaining a safe and sustainable working environment.
- Promote a culture of zero defects and ensure that digital systems are developed and deployed to support Right First-Time manufacturing, guaranteeing product quality and conformity.
- Manage, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as Design organisation, cross functional manufacturing teams, joint ventures, risk and revenue-sharing partners, and designated suppliers to support manufacturing engineering objectives.

- A good understanding of the specialist subject and proven ability to influence key decisions, with general knowledge of different manufacturing processes and technologies, would be an advantage.
- Experience & ability to demonstrate 'delivery of change' in manufacturing environments.
