We're supporting a global insurance network with the appointment of a Reporting & Reinsurance Analyst to join their London-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial reporting skills and an interest in employee benefits, multinational insurance, or reinsurance.
You'll be part of a high-performing team responsible for delivering financial insights to global clients, managing reporting cycles, and supporting reinsurance and pooling operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Producing detailed client reports covering premiums, claims, loss ratios, and programme performance (pooling or captive structures)
- Collecting, validating, and analysing financial data from a global network of insurance providers
- Explaining trends and variances to internal stakeholders and multinational clients
- Supporting cession and claim recovery processes for reinsurance clients
- Managing dividend settlements and deficit offsets for pooling clients
- Attending client meetings to provide data-driven insights and answer reporting queries
- Collaborating with underwriting, sales, and client management teams to ensure consistency and quality
- Helping improve internal systems and reporting processes
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in insurance reporting, financial services, reinsurance, or employee benefits analytics
- Solid understanding of claims, premiums, loss ratios, and financial reporting processes
- Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain data to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working across international teams or with multinational clients
- Knowledge of pooling or captive insurance models (preferred but not essential)

**Analyst: Technology Reporting Analyst**
**Department Overview**
The Technology Reporting & Service Catalogue team is part of the IT Planning, Reporting, and Administration department (IPR). The role of the IPR department is to ensure communication and liaison with Head Office (HO) in Tokyo, for both Bank and Securities, as well as accountability for EMEA Technology wide reporting, management of resourcing processes, management of asset processes and administration of wider planning processes including annual budget planning.
The Technology Reporting team provides central reporting which covers all of EMEA Technology. This team has built and maintains a framework for standardised and accurate reporting, as well as control of performance reporting and communication which includes the Key Performance Indicators (KPIu2019s) and service level agreements (SLAu2019s) across departments in EMEA Technology.
**Purpose**
The primary purpose of the Reporting Analyst is to ensure that reports which the CIO of EMEA Technology needs to provide to the relevant executive committees are complete, accurate, and submitted to the relevant governance committee contacts on time. The Reporting Analyst should act as a control gateway ensuring content is of a high standard before submission for CIO approval.
The Reporting Analyst should work with the report creators and contributors to ensure that that the requirements for executive reports are clearly understood and fully incorporated into the reports and materials produced, ensuring that reports are produced to a sufficiently high calibre in order to receive CIO sign off. This involves being aware of topics covered in previous committee meetings, understanding latest incidents and trends across Technology, and working with Technology SMEs to propose key narratives for Technology executive reporting.
Much of the time of the Reporting Analyst is spent collaborating with Technology SMEs to produce executive report materials. **Responsibilities**
