Autoscan provides Quality Inspection, Containment & Quality Engineering Services to the Automotive, Off Highway, and all types of manufacturing industries and their supply chain.
We're looking to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer to join an amazing team on an initial 3-month contract basis working at our customer site in Sunderland.
The Automotive Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing quality assurance processes and procedures within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
Reporting directly to the Senior Quality Engineer you will work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure that the highest standards of quality are achieved and maintained.
You will conduct various inspection and testing procedures, whilst assisting in developing quality control plans, and providing guidance and support to production personnel in the areas of problem solving, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
The Automotive Quality Engineer will also create and maintain quality documentation which includes control plans, inspection and test reports.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within the automotive industry and will also have a good working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 90001/TS 16949.
Working hours will be day shift only, covering 39 hours per week.

- Day to day internal / customer concern management.
- Maintain quality control systems and processes to ensure that products meet customer and industry standards.
