If you have a great attitude and exceptional customer service skills from your previous bar or hospitality role, and are looking for a career in sales, customer service and marketing, this is the opportunity for you to represent these brands in an events environment.

Full client and product coaching is provided, as well as access to a fantastic support and mentoring networks, so no experience is necessary.

People who have been successful in this self-employed, commission plus incentive role have previously worked as hotel receptionists, waiters or waitresses, Duty Managers. We're currently recruiting for talented Bar Staff to help us create beautifully crafted drinks and provide exceptional customer service for Defence on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.

As Bar Personnel, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly presented drinks to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
li>Maintaining an effective bar service with an emphasis on high-quality, efficient service
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Having a perfect knowledge of all beverages served in the bar, how to prepare them and how they should be presented
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)

• Ability to multitask

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Assessing customer preferences and making drink recommendations
• Complying with all food and beverage regulations
• Providing a friendly guest experience
• Taking beverage orders from customers or wait staff, preparing and serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail.
• Confidently checking identification to verify legal age requirements for customers
• Mixing beverages using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits
• Organising the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
• Taking money for drinks served and providing change as needed
• Performing alcohol and stock inventories to help maintain proper inventory levels
• Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a clean and sanitary environment
• If required, preparing and serving appetisers, snacks, or other food items for customers at the bar

Desirable

• Ideally proven/previous work experience
• DBS standard/enhanced
• Food safety training is a plus
• First aid training
