About the Role : To provide procurement and expediting support to the CNRI contract, ensuring fabrication scopes and site requisitions are processed, monitored, and delivered in line with project requirements. The role is hands-on and admin-heavy, requiring close coordination with engineers, fabricators, construction teams, and suppliers to maintain control over material and service deliveries. Responsibilities : Maintain a live Tracker for fabrication scopes including drawing numbers, spool/support IDs, and ROS dates. Create and maintain structured files for each fabrication scope (drawings, documents, correspondence). Act as focal point for the WPA (Welding Procedure Approval) process between Welding TA and external fabricators. Update Tracker with purchase order data and fabrication status in real-time, alerting project engineers of delays or changes. Collaborate with project engineers and the supply chain team to resolve routine queries. Manage site requisitions from platform teams by coordinating costing and delivery input, progressing approvals via DocuSign, and raising POs. Liaise with vendors and construction to resolve queries, expedite orders, handle airfreight, and track tooling deliveries and Hire Register entries. Escalate any potential risks to delivery or quality to the buyer and project engineers. Provide support to the Buyer by managing procurement documentation, RFQs, expediting, raising POs, inspections, and material queries. Qualifications : Experience in procurement or expediting. Working knowledge of fabrication processes and documentation. Strong administrative skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with tracking/reporting tools (Excel-based Trackers or procurement systems). Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external vendors. Required Skills : Highly organised and able to manage multiple task streams at once. Clear communicator with a proactive approach to expediting and issue resolution. KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE


As part of the Purchasing and Supply Chain team, collaborating closely with Engineering, Product Development and Logistics, this role will manage end-to-end direct and indirect procurement processes, including the creation of RFQs, defining optimal purchase volumes and ensuring timely material deliveries by cultivating excellent, robust, supplier relationships.


This role is responsible for developing, implementing and owning sourcing strategies that ensure the lowest total cost of materials for all aspects of watch production and indirect procurement whilst applying our demanding quality standards.


Ensuring product is brought to market rapidly and accurately, you will adapt quickly to supply challenges to deliver on time and on budget.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Responsible for direct component related purchasing across the business for a portfolio of materials
  • Leading Indirect procurement - definition, supplier selection, through to final delivery
  • Building and maintaining excellent supplier relationships to achieve high on time in full delivery performance
  • Negotiating to obtain advantageous pricing, desired quantities and short lead times
  • Working within the ERP system, ensuring purchase orders are placed in a timely manner, following through to completion on delivery in line with forecast agreed from sales
  • Proactively maintaining master data in the ERP system to be the single source of truth
  • Ensuring design developments/product changes are accurately managed across the business
  • Monitoring production requirements and proactively maintaining an optimal level of stock holding through effective expediting
  • Working alongside all departments within the business and communicating effectively with them on forecasted arrival dates for stock
  • Inbound freight management, selecting cost effective solutions and resolving import delays
  • Producing reports on purchasing related activities
  • Stay updated on new solutions proposed by partners and feedback to the product team
  • Leading resolution of material quality issues with supply partners without interrupting production


PERSON SPECIFICATION


  • Proven experience in Demand planning, Supply Planning or tactical Purchasing essential
  • Confident using imperfect data to make and own purchasing decisions
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills, managing the important and urgent simultaneously
  • Able to communicate well, adapting to a wide range of people at all levels of seniority
  • Excellent numerical skills with the ability to analyse information and provide insights to the wider business

We’re looking for a dynamic Buyer to join our Procurement Support Team, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring that business needs for goods and services are met efficiently and in line with procurement policies. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to strategic sourcing, drive compliance, and build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and suppliers. Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage requisitions and ad-hoc procurement requests in line with agreed service levels.

  • Source goods and services to deliver best value, balancing cost, lead time, and business priorities.

  • Support departmental KPIs including: Spend Under Control; Under Contract; Preferred Suppliers; Programmes of Work

  • Collaborate with Category Managers to support category strategies and execute subcategory tenders.

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and select the most suitable procurement methods.

  • Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure business needs are consistently met.

  • Maintain procurement systems such as SAP Ariba and contribute to process improvements.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a buying or procurement role.

  • Progress toward or completion of MCIPS is desirable.

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and remain calm under pressure.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Experience with SAP Ariba is a distinct advantage.

  • Ability to interpret business needs and develop clear specifications and RFx documents.

  • A collaborative mindset and the creativity to solve problems and drive value.
