Who We Are:
We are looking for a Data Analyst on a 6 month contract, can be based in Edinbrugh, Leeds, Halifax or Manchester with some travel to a local office. Mostly remote.
- Strong understanding of business reporting processes and experience in delivering reporting solutions that drive customer, colleague, and commercial value
- Ability to capture and translate business data requirements into clear specifications for reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in data wrangling techniques to clean, transform, and prepare data for reporting and reconciliation
- Experience transitioning reporting from legacy platforms to cloud environments, ideally GCP
- Familiarity with reconciliation testing to validate data accuracy and consistency across systems and reports
- Ability to analyse business tools and data flows to document data dictionaries and lineage
- Understanding of modern data strategy, including the importance of data quality, governance, and accessibility
- Strong communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, using data storytelling to highlight the value of reporting and insights
