We're growing! Yext is seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our Creative team and take ownership of design across client accounts. Please include a link to your online portfolio with your application.
As a UX/UI Designer at Yext, you will shape user experiences from wireframes to final designs, contributing throughout all design phases. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and other teams to transform complex workflows into intuitive, engaging experiences.
You are a creative problem-solver with a strong foundation in UX/UI principles, detail-oriented, and systematic in your approach. Your work will impact how clients interact with Yext products.
Working with our design manager and team, you will help solve complex problems for top brands, elevating our design standards. The ideal candidate is collaborative, experienced in UX/UI, attentive to detail, and eager to learn.

What You'll Do
- Design high-quality solutions aligned with our design system, accessibility, and brand guidelines
- Create responsive wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes for various devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure feasible and scalable designs
- Apply best practices and incorporate feedback to refine designs
- Participate in design critiques and review environments for accuracy and consistency
- Contribute to and maintain our design system
- Bring insights and techniques from your experience to improve team discussions
- Manage tasks effectively and communicate progress clearly
- Seek feedback and contribute to a collaborative design culture
What You Have
- 2–4 years of UX/UI experience in web applications or digital products
- Degree in Design or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with components, auto layout, and prototyping
- Understanding of responsive design and data-driven systems
- Knowledge of brand design principles and visual consistency
- Familiarity with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and version control
- Polished online portfolio demonstrating your process and work
- Growth mindset and openness to feedback

We have a great opportunity available to join Novus Gower, our prison education provider at HMP Parc, working as an Art and Graphic Design Tutor in the Young People's unit. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 40 hours per week.

HMP Parc Prison is a Category B men's prison located in Bridgend, Wales. The prison accommodates individuals who have been convicted of various offenses requiring secure custody and rehabilitation. The prisons aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe at all times. The prison's mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.
Role Responsibilities
As a Tutor, you will develop and deliver high quality, learner focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards, in line with Novus Gower policies and procedure. You'll support learners and colleagues alike to ensure the best outcome for all who work within our sector. Please see the attached role profile for an overview of general role responsibilities. Specific details pertaining to the nuances of the individual role are shared during the interview process.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Hold a teaching qualification and where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
- Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
- Have experience of creating stimulating, vibrant environments which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners
- Have experience of achieving of quality targets
- Have experience of producing accurate and timely reports
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate an ability to motivate and enthuse learners
- Have excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload, and meet deadlines and targets
- Commit to positive teamworking
