Our Regional Underwriting team plays a key role in driving profitable growth across our broker network throughout Yorkshire and theNorth-East regions. You will review and manage Health Surveillance escalation appropriately by identifying concerns, managing risk for our clients and ensure best practice following HSE and our Clinical assessment pathways.

The role involves reviewing Health Surveillance escalations from the Occupational Health Technician team and other business areas, managing the HS inbox, and screening issues to ensure appropriate next steps are advised. The position also requires conducting fitness medicals and health surveillance in line with best practices and organisational protocols, evaluating results, and communicating appropriate fitness advice while escalating as necessary.
Additional responsibilities include delivering other OH services, ergonomic guidance, and health promotion, where competent. The role also involves providing clinical supervision and providing feedback to the Occupational Health Team Leaders. Maintaining valid NMC registration and adhering to NMC guidelines on professional issues, clinical supervision, and continuous professional development as a registered nurse are essential aspects of the role.

The role requires registration with the NMC (Part 1) and a postgraduate qualification in occupational health (degree or diploma). Your new role
As a Real World Evidence / Epidemiology Lead, you will lead and support the design, delivery, and communication of real-world evidence studies across a diverse portfolio of projects, primarily focused around the company's rare disease projects.
This position offers significant autonomy and would suit candidates ranging from experienced epidemiologists through to established RWE leaders looking for a hands-on scientific role.
This is initially a 6 month contract that may extend and can be done on a fully home based / remote basis within the UK (candidates CANNOT be based outside of the UK).
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering global RWE studies across areas such as epidemiology, disease burden, natural history, care pathways, unmet need, and real-world effectiveness
- Leading studies from concept development through to reporting, publication, and stakeholder communication
- Developing study concepts, protocols, statistical analysis plans, and governance documentation
- Collaborating with academic partners, medical experts, vendors, statisticians, and internal stakeholders
- Supporting the growth and development of disease-specific real-world data assets and registries
- Providing scientific leadership on methodology selection, study design, and data source evaluation
- Interpreting study results and communicating findings to both internal and external audiences
- Ensuring studies are delivered on time, to budget, and in line with quality and governance requirements
What you'll need to succeed
A successful candidate will bring strong experience in real-world evidence generation together with the ability to operate independently across complex projects.
- Proven experience delivering RWE studies using primary and/or secondary data sources
- Experience gained within pharmaceutical companies, specialist consultancies, CROs, academic research groups, or recognised centres of excellence
- Strong understanding of epidemiology, observational research methods, and outcomes research
- Experience developing study protocols, analysis plans, and scientific publications
- Ability to work effectively with academic collaborators, KOLs, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities

+ Accountable for development and implementation of trial level engagement plans, recruitment planning and risk mitigation. Leads development of core trial and patient facing documents. Integrates
+ Maintains oversight during clinical trial conduct including adherence to GCP and all global and local regulatory requirements; compliance with SOPs and continuous risk monitoring/mitigation. In collaboration with other functions, ensures budget oversight, including support of regular clinical quality monitoring, SMC/DMC management and safety reporting.
+ Prepare and implement amendments of core documents, including training material updates/retraining as needed.
+ Support authority/ethics response to requests as applicable.
+ Maintain oversight of outsourcing of vendor services (including Central Lab) in conjunction with other functions.
+ In collaboration with other functions, ensures timely cleaning and delivery of clinical trial data. Coordinates and supports trial medical writer in providing the CTR.
+ Responding for timely, complete and compliant archiving of all relevant global documents in the TMF, including all required documents from vendors.
+ Support results/documents disclosure of global registries.
+ May support publication of trial data.

**What we are looking for in this role**
+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical trial management experience.
+ Strong clinical trial project management experience.
+ In depth understanding of project management with an emphasis on team work, to promote high performance teams.
+ Experience in either Oncology, CNS, Immunology or Vaccines
+ Extensive experience in clinical trial project management across international trials
+ Masters Degree ideal but not essential.

My client is a uniquely diverse UK consultancy looking for an Acoustics Engineer to support an increasing workload in noise impact assessment, this is a home based role across the South East of England
You should have experience of undertaking noise surveys, using specialist software and working knowledge of environmental acoustics regulation such as BS 4142 and BS 5228.
Within this role you will be working on undertaking baseline surveys, reporting, analysis and modelling of noise emissions.
An understanding of the EIA and process of building acoustics is desirable but not essential.
