You will lead the day-to-day technical delivery of **mechanical design services** on multi-disciplinary building projects. You will oversee the production of high-quality design deliverables, including specifications, drawings, and schedules.
You will support the commercial success of your projects through timely invoicing, WIP management, and workload/resource planning. You will mentor junior team members, including graduates and apprentices, and play a key role in their career development.

**ABOUT YOU**
You will be an experienced **Mechanical Engineer** with a passion for delivering sustainable solutions for your clients and will have the following:
+ A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters) in **mechanical engineering** or building services.
+ Chartered status or working towards it.
+ Proven experience as a **Mechanical or Senior Mechanical Engineer** in the UK, ideally with a track record of delivering both **mechanical** and M&E solutions across varied building sectors.
+ Familiarity with BIM processes and tools including Revit.

The Process Planning Team:
You’ll be joining our dedicated Process Planning team, which plays a vital role in bridging the gap between design and manufacture. Supporting a wide range of current and future projects, the team is responsible for developing safe, logical, and cost-effective manufacturing plans for both detailed components and complex advanced assembly build structures.
As a Mechanical Process Planning Engineer, you’ll work closely with design engineers, manufacturing teams, production planners, and quality specialists to ensure that every plan is both practical and aligned with business objectives. - Developing the package of design evidence required to justify a safe, effective design and generate customer confidence in the design solution
- Specifying and assisting in the build of prototypes, products and systems suitable for testing
- Providing timely corrective actions on all assigned defects and issues
