Hales Group are proud to be working with their client to assist them in finding 3 Production Operatives to join their busy and growing production team. You will play a vital role within production, where you will be contributing to safe operations of the site packing machines within their end of line production.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Operate food packaging machinery including bag-in-box, form & fill, and bag & stitch systems.
- Monitor and maintain machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production flow.
- Carry out regular quality checks to ensure packaging meets food safety and company standards.
- Follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) procedures at all times.
- Handle and prepare packaging materials, ensuring correct setup for each product run.
- Identify and report any faults or issues with equipment or product quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with food hygiene standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Record production data accurately and report any deviations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Candidate Attributes:
- A current Forklift Licence is required
- Experience working within a FMCG environment, preferably food.
- Experience of operating food packaging machinery - bag in box / form & fill / bag & stitch.

- Good communication skills including the accurate, legible recording of information.
- To comply with site and business operational, health, safety & environmental and food safety procedures, work instructions and safe systems of work.

Working Hours for the Production Operatives role
- 7:30am-7pm and 6:45pm- 5/6am
- 11 hours/ day
Shift times for Production Operatives are:

- Nights 6:45pm- 5:30am approx.
- Must be able to do 11 hours shifts
- 4-5 days per week depending on availability
- Please note factory is operating 7 days a week so candidates must be available to work weekends as well
