Role: Production Operative
Start date: Immediate Start
Location: Woodbridge, Suffolk
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay: 12.21ph+ (WEEKLY PAY ) & further opportunity for salary increases

We are looking for production operatives who are immediately available to work for a leading manufacturer based on the outskirts of Woodbridge, Suffolk.

The company offer an excellent training & development program, where you can learn all aspects of the business. As you progress & work in further areas of the business, you will have the opportunity to further increase your salary .

This would be working a rotating shift pattern of one week on 05:45-14:00 & the following week on lates 13:45-22:00.

Overtime is paid @ increased rates of pay.

Production Operative duties include: -

  • Adding bottles to the production line
  • Packing bottles into boxes ready for dispatch
  • Assisting with machine change overs and clean downs
  • Operating a clean as you approach.
  • Ensuring you comply with all standards, procedures, and practices.

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Production Operator and Packing Operator you will play a crucial role in the production process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working on a production line.
  • Placing bottles on the lines.
  • Placing caps on bottles.
  • Packing bottles into boxes and palletising boxes
  • Assembling cardboard boxes according to production specifications.
  • Inspecting finished products for quality control purposes.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Following safety processes and guidelines while working with machinery.
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Reporting any issues or malfunctions with machinery to the supervisor.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures related to Good Manufacturing Practice standards.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the production manager.

The Role: -

This role involves working on a production line of a food manufacturing company, this is making cakes and buns and is in an ambient room temperature environment, so not chilled or working in a freezer.  This is light work, however fast paced as you would be checking the hygiene practices remain excellent and the line continues running.
