Production Operatives (Electronics)
Industry: Manufacturing
Location: Newport
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible working between 6.30am and 5pm)
Days: Monday - Friday
Duration: initial 4 week trial, may then be extended to 12 weeks and potentially temp to perm for the right candidate.
Duties:
Electronic and mechanical assembly, using a variety of plastic components and connectors, printed circuit boards and cables.
Use of hand and small power tools
Working to technical specifications, schedules and quality standards.
Adherence to health & safety.
Experience:
A good level of previous electronics assembly experience is required, soldering experience is an advantage.
Experience within the aerospace or automotive industries is preferred.
Experience of SMT an advantage.
Must have good attention to detail, manual dexterity and high-quality standards.
Must be able to work on own initiative, to instruction and timescales, as well as part of a team.
Salary: Starting on £12.21 ( increasing after 12 weeks )

DAYSHIFT - £12.21 per hour:
6am-2pm
7am-2:30pm
BACKSHIFT - £12.71 per hour:
2.30pm-11pm
(YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVER 20 HOURS PER WEEK)

The role will involve working on a busy production line, packing, labelling, and general production duties. Previous experience working in a production environment is essential to be considered.
Shifts and pay:
Monday to Friday rotating weekly between Dayshift and Backshift (YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVER 20 HOURS PER WEEK)
Dayshift 7am - 2pm - £12.60p/h increasing to £3.03p/h after 12 weeks service
and
Backshift 1:50pm - 11:20pm - 3p/h increasing to 4.98p/h after 12 weeks service

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for Production / Cleanroom Operatives to join our clients expanding team based in the Baglan area. Our client is a Global leader in Water and Hygiene.
The successful candidates will be target driven, have drive and ambition and will be required to work on a Production Line within a Cleanroom environment achieving work standards that meet with GMP, 5s, Quality and Health and Safety
Rate of pay: £15.74ph, 3 shifts rotating weekly. 37.5 hours per week
Morning: Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm
Afternoons: Mon-Fri, 2pm-10pm
Nights: Sun-Thurs, 10pm-6am
Contract: This is a temporary, ongoing position with a view to become permanent providing candidates meet the performance and job spec criteria.
Duties will include:
- Work as part of a successful team as well as working on your own initiative.
- Comply with Health & Safety policy considering duty of care for yourself and others at all times.
- Carry out all duties as required by your Line Manager.
- To carry out all relevant tests/procedures within production process to meet with our quality standards.
- Meet the cleanliness and hygiene standards expected of a health-care company.
