As our team is growing, we’re looking for multiple Junior QA Analysts to support RuneScape and Old School RuneScape, two of the most iconic MMORPGs. Whether embedded with a content team or working on core engine systems, you’ll playtest updates, validate features, report issues, and provide player-focused feedback throughout development. With guidance from experienced peers, you’ll develop your skills in testing, bug reporting, and collaborative QA practices, helping to shape the content experienced by millions of players.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Learn and apply QA processes, testing techniques, and agile practices in a live game development environment.
  • Design, plan, and execute test cases across game content, features, and engine systems.
  • Playtest upcoming updates, providing clear feedback on mechanics, design and balance.
  • Investigate and document player-reported issues, producing reproducible findings for development teams.
  • Report bugs, risks, and quality concerns concisely using internal tools and standards.
  • Analyse game content and systems, offering constructive feedback on potential bugs, risks, or design improvements.
  • Conduct Release Candidate testing of the RuneScape Game engine.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and more, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for:

  • Passion for games and game development, whether from a technical, creative, or player-focused perspective.

We’re looking for a QA Test Analyst to join our collaborative team in Yate. If you're passionate about quality, love digging into details, and enjoy working closely with developers and business teams to deliver reliable, user-friendly software - this could be your next great move.

As a QA Test Analyst, you’ll take ownership of testing across the software development lifecycle, helping to shape robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions for our multi-platform products. You'll work on cutting-edge projects, apply a mix of testing techniques, and influence continuous improvement across our testing processes.

What will the role involve?

  • Planning, developing, and executing test plans, cases, and scripts across web and mobile products.
  • Performing functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and acceptance testing.
  • Working collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure shared understanding of requirements and quality expectations.
  • Taking ownership of test planning and delivery throughout the SDLC.
  • Logging, tracking, and managing defects — and delivering clear reporting to stakeholders.
  • Participating in peer reviews and team meetings to share knowledge and continuously improve.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Supporting discussions around testing automation and future test frameworks
  • Attending daily cross-functional team stand-ups and agile ceremonies.
Qualifications

What are we looking for? 

  • 3+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
  • ISTQB certified (or equivalent qualification).
  • A strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.

It would be a bonus is you had: 

  • Some experience or exposure to test automation .
  • Familiarity with agile working practices and cross-functional teams.

  • Small UK team with a build phase ahead, clear executive backing and excellent portfolio of existing clients & case studies.


About the role

  • Create and execute the go to market plan for testing and QA services across the UK and Europe
  • Open new enterprise logos and convert initial projects into multi quarter engagements
  • Run the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, then expand and renew
  • Scope opportunities with delivery leaders to ensure commercials, quality and timelines land first time
  • Track pipeline, forecast accurately and report progress to the leadership team
  • Feed market insight back into messaging, packaging and case material
  • Lay foundations to hire account management and sales support as revenue scales


About you

  • 5 plus years of B2B sales in software testing, QA services or closely related IT consulting
  • Credible network you can leverage immediately and evidence of landing net new logos
  • Comfortable selling offshore or blended delivery models and talking automation and test tooling at a high level
  • Builder mindset, hands on, resilient and effective in a lean environment
  • Strong communicator who collaborates well across cultures and time zones
  • Additional European language skills are a plus


Package

  • Base salary around £100,000
  • Uncapped commission with clear accelerators
  • Year one built around land and expand objectives with flexibility agreed at offer stage
  • Year two guidance aligned to seven figure new revenue with growth-based upside
  • Hybrid and flexible working, UK based, travel as required
