Robotics Engineer

An early-stage stealth startup that’s looking to bring on an experienced engineer with knowledge of robotics.

This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor of a company that’s set to transform several niche areas within the manufacturing space.

You will ideally have:

• Experience with ABB
• Experience with Robotic Programming
• Ability to work in the Startup and hit the ground running

Desirable

• Experience with welding would be a plus but not a deal breaker

• Design and develop automated manufacturing systems and robotic cells.
• Program industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) and PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Integrate various automation components, including sensors, vision systems, and safety devices.
• Develop and implement HMI/SCADA systems for process monitoring and control.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical analyses for potential automation projects.
• Perform commissioning, testing, and validation of automated systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and robotics.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in automation (e.g., C++, Python, Ladder Logic).
• Experience with major robot manufacturer programming software.
• Strong understanding of PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, and industrial networks.
• Experience with vision systems and machine learning in industrial applications is a plus.

• Strong understanding of control systems, kinematics, dynamics, and artificial intelligence.

• Proficiency in programming robotic platforms from major manufacturers (e.g., KUKA, FANUC, ABB, Universal Robots).
• Experience with robot simulation software (e.g., ROS, CoppeliaSim, RoboDK) and programming languages (e.g., C++, Python).
• Strong understanding of kinematics, dynamics, control systems, and computer vision.
• Proven ability to design, integrate, and troubleshoot complex robotic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with remote teams and clients.
• Experience with PLCs and industrial control systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in robotics.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a dynamic, remote environment.
