The role

- Primarily responsible for monitoring our Credit Strategy to identify useful trends and opportunities to optimise our lending strategy

What we're looking for
- A degree from numerical subjects such as Mathematics, Engineering or Science
- No work experience required, but work experience is advantageous, particularly in credit risk analytics / portfolio analytics, ideally in a Retail/Corporate/Investment Banking context
- Experience in guiding business decisions through analytical insights, ideally covering all steps from initial stakeholder engagement and business analysis to data analysis and presentation of the results
- Excellent communication skills, particularly with regards to translating data analyses and numbers into actionable insights tailored to the audience
- Some understanding of the principles of portfolio modelling, particularly cash flow modelling and measurement of performance

Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Scientist to own the development, optimisation, and implementation of DNA/RNA extraction and sequencing workflows. This hands-on role bridges R&D innovation and production-scale delivery, ensuring new methods are scientifically robust and scalable.
You will directly contribute to expanding the company’s biodiversity database, prototyping, testing, and scaling workflows that drive real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise DNA/RNA extraction and sequencing workflows (Illumina and Nanopore).
