You will be at the forefront of discovering and developing novel biotechnological solutions that address critical global challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, execute, and interpret complex experiments in biotechnology, molecular biology, and related fields.
  • Lead research projects from conceptualization to data analysis and reporting, defining project objectives and methodologies.
  • Develop and optimize new scientific techniques and protocols.
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets, employing advanced statistical and computational methods.
  • Author high-impact scientific publications and present research findings at international conferences.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal research teams, external academic partners, and industry collaborators.
  • Mentor and guide junior scientists and research associates, fostering a culture of scientific excellence.
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual property, including patent filings.
  • Ensure all research activities comply with ethical standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and scientific trends to identify new research opportunities.
  • Manage research budgets and resources efficiently.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for the R&D department.

Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of post-doctoral research experience in a relevant field, with a strong publication record.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cutting-edge biotechnological techniques (e.g., gene editing, recombinant DNA technology, protein expression and purification, cell culture).
  • Proven track record of leading successful research projects and managing research teams.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex scientific concepts clearly.
  • Experience with bioinformatics tools and data analysis software is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
  • Experience in securing research grants or funding is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for conferences and potential site visits as required.
