My client are a leading B2B and eCommerce Software company, and they are looking to recruit a Software Tester to join their growing test team, working across the software products of a number of different development teams. This company have been developing B2B and eCommerce software applications and software tools for the last 30 years, used by Blue-chip brand companies in the UK, USA and Europe.
As a Senior Software Tester, you will join the test team in Brighton that ensures the quality of the company’s legacy and next generation Sales, Purchasing and Stock control applications. You will be responsible for testing their high quality applications and liaising regularly with developers and management. These products are developed in C#, .Net Core, SQL Server,
You will be a Software Tester participating in a small team of testers writing UI, API and Database automation test scripts for a number of Web applications and will aslo involve testing a couple of legacy desktop applications as well.
Key Tasks:
Test Planning and Strategy:
- Help develop and implement test strategies, plans, and test cases as directed by Head of Testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage. li>Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing objectives, timelines, and success criteria.
Test Execution and Documentation:
- Execute te t cases across multiple platforms and environments, including desktop, web and mobile.
- Troubl shoot test failures, log defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Document test results, defects, and issues in a clear and concise manner using JIRA/Azure Dev-Ops.
- Conduct r gression/ integration testing to ensure the stability of software releases.
Automation and Tooling:
- Design, evelop and maintain robust automation frameworks for Windows based WMS applications.
- Autom te functional and regression tests using tools such as Ranorex, FlaUI, TestComplete, or equivalent.
- Work with C#, and/or JavaScript to script automation test cases
- S rong knowledge of database testing, including the ability to write and execute complex SQL queries to insert, validate, manipulate, and verify test data.
- Identify opportuni ies for test automation and implement appropriate solutions.
Defect Management and Resolution:
- Identif , track, and prioritize defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Work losely with our developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Provide eedback and recommendations for improving product quality and reliability.
Team Leadership and Mentoring:
- Provide uidance and mentorship to junior QA team members.
- Fos er a collaborative and supportive team environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Lead b example, demonstrating best practices in testing methodologies and techniques as set by our Head of Testing.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ year of experience in software quality assurance/testing roles,
- Pre ious experience of desktop software application testing (Ideally WPF) as well as web applications.
- Pr ven expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management.
- Expe ience in automation tools like or similar desktop UI automation frameworks.
- Automo ion testing of C# and .Net applications.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium for web-based modules.
- Ex erience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and test integration tools.
- Solid nderstanding of software testing methodologies, both manual and automated.
Nice to Have:
- Experie ce with BDD tools like SpecFlow or Cucumber.
- Per ormance and load testing exposure using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experi nce in WMS / supply chain or relevant domain workflows.

We are looking for a test engineer to join our development team in the validation and testing of the in-vehicle camera devices with our IoT platform. Reporting to our head of QA this role will focus on the user acceptance testing of the devices themselves and their operation when used in the full end to end solution.
This role will suit a methodical and analytical thinker and requires an ability to perform real-world in-vehicle and on the bench testing, compile concise and accurate formal test reports and to replicate, communicate and assist in the resolution of issues that are found as a result of this testing.
A full UK driving license is essential as this role will involve undertaking journeys with the devices fitted in order to validate the data accuracy as well as an ability to install and de-install the equipment to the vehicle.

- Ability to identify issues, raise and track through to resolution
- A technical background with analytical thinking and practical hands on test experience

- Ability to bench test devices using typical electronic test equipment such as DMM, oscilloscopes and function generators
- Full UK driving license
- Excellent written and spoken English
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Azure or any cloud platform solution
- Experience in Telematics and testing of telematics device
- Working knowledge of specific HW systems such as GPS, GSM, LTE, MCU’s and sensors that are common electronic components making up typical camera and telematics systems < i>Experience with regulatory approvals and compliance for consumer and automotive products

The Engineering team are searching for an entry level Test Engineer to join their team. The Test Engineer's main focus will be on the following:
Efficiently Evaluating and Executing Tests by:
- Developing an understanding of technical requirements/regulations
- Developing an understanding of client's expectations and additional testing requests
- Researching, identifying and applying any special rules or other requirements
- Accurately developing and executing test methods for technical and client requirements
- Effectively documenting test results and discovered defects
- Managing projects and tasks against budgets and timelines
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with all assigned customers
- Maintaining an understanding of the customer's needs and market position
- Proactively communicating the status of testing with all relevant internal and external parties
- Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent experience in engineering, science, math or other technical areas strongly preferred
