Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. Duties

  • Ensuring a safer working environment, adhering to health and safety policies and regulations, and maintaining compliance with warehousing, handling and shipping legislation.
  • Manage and supervise all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, dispatching of goods and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain efficient processes to optimise workflow and productivity within the warehouse.
  • Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels, optimising storage space, and coordinating the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely fulfilment of orders and resolve any logistical issues.
  • Producing regular reports and statistics on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational metrics.
  • Managing warehouse budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Monitor transport and loading requirements in conjunction with the Transport Senior Team Leader.

Experience

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organisation and Planning: Ability to plan and organise warehouse operations, manage inventory, and optimise space utilisation.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to warehouse operations, safety, and logistics.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop solutions for process improvement.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems: Familiarity with SAP & PowerBi software and their functions.
  • Knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Understanding of the principles of supply chain management and logistics.
  • Change Management.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations is highly desirable.
