Our teams are embracing change, fostering new ways of working and we have never been more resolute in our mission - "you work for us, and we`ll work for you".What you will be doingInternal CommunicationsSupport and deliver the activity plan for internal communications.Help to ensure that Ricoh’s business strategy is understood and deployed to all EMEA employees.Disseminate and support with the creation of communication materials that promote and explain Ricoh’s vision, strategy and brand identity.Work with the wider EMEA Marketing team to ensure appropriate external content is repurposed for internal communications.Produce video material, gather news from employees and sales teams etc. about Ricoh’s business activity, products, services, new clients etc., and drive appropriate related internal communications.Support internal events (both remote and in the office) to drive employee engagement, aligning with IT regarding technical requirements to help manage logisticsDeliver the in-house blogging programme (text and/or video) for the Ricoh Europe Executive Board.Support with the delivery of the Ricoh Europe internal Newsletter.Work with Ricoh Operating Companies (26 across EMEA) and gain an in-depth understanding of all internal communications activity. Inform and audit activity and progress and implement processes to ensure accountability for correct implementation of key EMEA initiatives. Influence Operating Companies effectively to ensure alignment with Ricoh’s key messages.Maintain and support the development of Ricoh’s strong platform of digital and face to face channels to communicate effectively with employees.Track how content is created and used by Operating Company internal communications leads in their local activities, newsletters, intranet sites etc.Propose tactics to improve employee engagement with Ricoh’s intranet and other Office 365 tools.Ensure the implementation of metrics to measure ROI and review the effectiveness of existing communication channels and activities.Maintain and manage appropriate supplier relationships including a professional briefing process.Work with the Ricoh Global Corporate Communications team based in Japan on a range of projects as and when they arise and to ensure regional alignment with messaging from Ricoh’s HQ.Work closely with head office divisions at Ricoh Europe e.g. HR, Finance, Legal, IT on a range of ongoing business initiatives.External CommunicationsSupport the PR Manager in the delivery of the activity plan for external communications.Draft articles for external distribution.Assist with social media content production on an ad-hoc basis.Inform PR teams across EMEA of upcoming external communications activities.Assist with analyst relations activity including information gathering from subject matter experts across the businessYou will ideally haveKnowledge, Skills & ExperienceExceptional communication and strong stakeholder management skills.Excellent quality of written materials targeted at internal (and external where applicable) audiences.Degree holder preferable.Proven experience in a dedicated communications role – e.g. corporate communications, internal communications or public relations.An excellent grasp of English and proven experience in developing targeted written communication deliverables, such as videos, intranet content, employee newsletters, blogs, speeches etc.Business acumen to communicate and translate business strategies and complex messages into memorable ones.Consistently able to meet deadlines and goals to a high-standard and within budget.An eye for detail with proven proof-reading skills.Creative and inquisitive with excellent listening skills that can be applied to developing targeted communications materials for internal and external use.Energetic and positive team player with ability to build relationships across the business.Ability to assess and prioritise workload and deliver on deadlines.Basic understanding of digital platforms and know-how to create internal campaigns with impact for EMEA audiences in time constrained environments.Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 e.g. SharePoint and PowerPoint preferred but not mandatory.In return for your commitment, you can expect• A competitive salary package • Industry leading benefitsRicoh is an exceptional place to work.
