About the Role

We are looking for SEN Teachers who have a therapeutic approach to their teaching and learning. Experience of working with Autistic pupils, you will plan, assess, and deliver all subjects with an emphasis on practical learning and personal development. We need people who share our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.

Qualifications:

  • Experience of working in a special education setting with children Autism

General Responsibilities

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils and young people;
  • Work in accordance with professional practice, statutory and legal requirements and the policies of the school;
  • Take on specific tasks related to the day to day administration and organisation of the school;

About the Role

As SENCo, you will play a key role in the strategic development and implementation of SEND provision across the school. Working closely with the Headteacher and our on-site therapy team, you will ensure that pupils with autism, complex communication needs, and associated learning and emotional needs receive high-quality, individualised support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of the school’s SEND policy and inclusive practices
  • Provide guidance on the graduated approach to SEN and tailored interventions

Dental Receptionist - Moortown

Receptionist role and responsibilities

  • Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression and patient journey
  • Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
  • Co-ordinating the care packages for our patients that has been provided by our clinicians
  • Confident in promoting and upselling Bupa Dental Care products and services including Plan options, Finance and Insurance claims
  • Excellent customer service skills face to face, telephone and via email
  • Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
  • Handling payments
  • Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality

Your skills and experience

  • Ability to be positive and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous administration or receptionist experience, preferably within a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication skills face to face, via telephone and email
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook with overall strong organisation skills
  • Previous experience with promoting company products and services
  • Preferred Dentally experience

Main Job Functions

You will respond to customer’s field repair and service requests, diagnosing and providing comprehensive detail about the nature the problem to the customer and Finning to create a quote as per the request of the customer within a cost and time effective manner.

  • Provide an estimate of arrival time at customer’s site in response to service request based on the job instructions from Branch giving details of customer location, machine, contact name and nature of problem and current work situation.
  • Contact customer’s site management in order to register arrival and presence on site and ensure knowledge of customer procedures so as to adhere to site requirements.
  • Diagnose the likely cause of reported equipment problems, in discussion with customer operators/supervisors and using specialised equipment, in order to provide the customer with an information for the work required. Provide a comprehensive detail to allow Finning to construct a quote as requested by the customer.
  • Identify the parts required to carry out the repair and requisition any parts and determine expected time of delivery so that a date and time of any necessary service re-visit can be agreed with customer.
  • Undertake repair and service work on a variety of Caterpillar engines and generators.

Education and Experience

  • LDV driving licence.
  • Formally trained (NVQ Level 3 preferred) and served as a service engineer for a significant period or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of a variety of gas and diesel engines, generators both LV and HV.

Knowledge

  • Knowledge in the use of field-based diagnosis tools and equipment essential.
  • Experience with assembly and disassembly of diesel engines and components
  • Caterpillar large engine e.g. 3400, 3500, 3600 series engines, MWM, MAK series knowledge.
  • Formally apprenticed trained (NVQ Level 3) and served as a workshop engineer for a significant period or equivalent experience.  
  • Experience of a variety of gas and diesel engines, generators both LV and HV.
