Job DescriptionIndigo Healthcare are seeking a Consultant in Histopathology for an Acute General Hospital located in a bustling town in Yorkshire which benefits from bordering a beautiful national park and is known as the friendliest Hospital in the Country.  The hospital serves a population of approximately 250,000 people and has 400 beds to provide a full range of district hospital services which include: Emergency Department services, outpatient clinics, inpatient services, and Maternity and Children’s services. They also provide a number of specialised services, including cancer and surgical services.Main duties with an existing colleague to deliver the work of the departmentParticipate in a general EQA scheme (which will be funded by the trust) as well as specialist EQA schemes as agreedA broad range of material should be expected and includes non-gynecological cytologyYou would be encouraged to develop an interest and lead one of the specialist MDTsWe are looking for candidates with the registered or in the position to applyMBChB or equivalent FRCPath or equivalentIdeally specialist register or within six months of CCT at the time of interviewIf you are interested in this position then please apply, or to find out further information please contact Lesley on / or Qualifications
