Orion Group are delighted to be working with a well known client based at a site in North Lanarkshire. Our client has continued to perform well over the last few months and are looking for an experienced, self starting credit controller to join and manage the small credit team on a permanent basis.What is involved in the role: Manage multiple accounts (numbers vary each month)Look after a small team of credit controllers (a track record of doing this previously would be beneficial)Report into and liaise with the Finance Director on a regular basisCreate reports and forecasts for managementEnsure the Timely collection of outstanding accounts in line with the business unit credit terms.Support and negotiate with customers on disputes and set up fair and effective resolutions Manage all credit control processes and liaise with stakeholders to ensure prompt communication around status and actions requiredOpen new accounts and review and action credit limit changes for clients in accordance with requirements Ensure team is operating effectively Reviews of team performance and training where necessary Update system on a regular basis ensuring accuracy Ad hoc tasks when required Other information: Strong background and track record of succeeding in credit control Experience in a fast paced environmentMust have strong systems knowledge and the ability to learn new tools and proceduresWill be working with a fiance team of around 10Free on site parking9-5pm Monday to FridayFor more information please contact role in supporting diversity and inclusion As an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
