Digital Media Manager


DESCRIPTION The EU XCM (Cross-Channel, Cross-Country Marketing) team is looking for a Digital Media Manager, with extensive experience of working with social and programmatic platforms and tools. The successful candidate will: Help develop and implement digital best practices that will accelerate the team’s capabilities and competencies in this channel. They will plan and execute digital plans using 1P data on social platforms and engaging with internal and external agency digital and programmatic teams. They will work closely with the wider media planning team, supporting them on delivering our strategic communications priorities and partner with key stakeholders across the business helping to educate and inspire. We are looking for someone who is highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment. Strong candidates must have the ability to work autonomously, have excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to influence others. This role works closely with our media planning, strategy planning, campaign management and creative / production teams to translate business briefs into best-in-class digital media plans. Responsibilities · Work alongside digital leaders to develop and implement best practices across; AV planning, social strategy, programmatic implementation, targeting, measurement and brand safety · Plan and buy 1P social media campaigns through internal planning tools and help oversee external agency social teams utilizing 3P audiences · Engage with internal programmatic leads on utilization of their products · Help advise wider planning teams on appropriate digital approaches across a range of varied product categories - from potential new device launches to retail sales events. · Ensure campaigns are trafficked and implemented correctly · Monitor campaign performance and report back results to wider team and stakeholders · Work with digital leaders to develop and present recommendations, evaluations, POVs and media analyses to relevant stakeholder(s). · Build trustworthy relationships with internal business teams, creative leads, measurement teams and agency partners · Meet with sales representatives to stay up to date on the latest opportunities in the world of media to help drive innovation in channel mix and execution · Ensure smooth running of the business through strong coordination with wider media team and Global colleagues – aligning and sharing plans and accurate tracking of budgets. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS · Have a strong understanding of digital media (inc. social and programmatic) · 3+ years experience working with external partners/agencies on digital media campaigns · 3+ years working in a social marketing data-driven environment · Proven track record of delivering high quality social media campaigns in very dynamic environments · Understanding of creative development process and media planning · Experience using industry media planning tools such as Nielsen (e.g. AdDynamics), Kantar (TGI), Comscore, BARB · Experience using social planning and buying tools (e.g. Facebook Business Manager) · Highly detail-oriented, have excellent organizational skills, and ability to multi-task · Self-motivation and flexibility · Strong quantitative and analytical skills including working with budgets and numbers · Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word · Bachelors degree or equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Media agency experience or in-house agency experience · Intense bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment · Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills · Experience in advertising operations or media planning including the use of planning and paid amplification tools like Sprinklr or native social channel ad management tools
