Finance Administrator - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Administrator to joinour local finance team to support with day to day financial administration forBristol, Cardiff and Winchester offices.

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will have strongpartnering skills to develop internal client relationships and will demonstratefinancial acumen to support project managers in project financialadministration to ensure commercial success. This includes but notlimited to, creating bespoke reports, chasing project forecasts, invoicing andupdate the relevant trackers ensuring that targets for invoicing and cashfloware met.

The successful candidate will also be supporting a large Infrastructureproject; Involvement in Payment Application process, managing our internalfinancial system to adhere to framework structure and framework work packages,updating trackers, distributing application data to Project Managers to enableforecasting, and general house-keeping activities. In addition, you willbecome expert in all financial activities relating to the Framework to act asback-up to primary Financial support person.

Other duties include:

Assisting the Finance Business Partner in data gathering to input into the annual business plans Advising Project Managers on correct financial set up in accordance with internal financial systems/procedures and translating Arup costs into formats required by clients. Proactively ensuring that financial data is up to date and accurate in our financial systems, liaising with project managers. Providing financial data to our project managers to support fee creation and bidding requirements. Take responsibility for general financial housekeeping and taking action as appropriate Liaising with our shared services centre on supplier invoice payments and client invoicing Responding to ad hoc queries from staff on our financial systems and procedures

To succeed in this role, you are likely to have….
