Finance Assistant – Competitive Salary – Part Time - 24 hours per week – London & Thames Valley

The key responsibilities of a Finance Assistance include, but are not limited to:
Liaising with all other staff to ensure accurate information is collated and shared where relevant.
Preparing budgets and forecasts and dealing with all entries into and updating the accountancy package (Xero).
Bank account reconciliation in all currencies, raising customer invoices, assisting with creditor payments, assist with preparation of Management reports and KPI's for the Board.

The key skills and qualities of a Finance Assistant:
AAT Qualified (Level 3 Minimum) or an Accountancy qualification
Previous Accounts Payable experience (1-year minimum)
Previous experience of accruals, prepayments and journals essential
Good numerical skills and attention to detail are a necessity.
Intermediate Excel skills (VLookUp, Pivot tables); Experience of using PowerPoint, Zoom and Xero software would be advantageous
The successful candidate must have the ability to manage, plan and prioritise their own workload to meet critical deadlines.
