Job Title - Graduate Project Engineer Salary - £26,000 - £28,000 starting salary, dependent on qualifications and previous experience. plus Veolia benefits *listed below Location - Veolia, Bridges Road, Ellesmere Port, CH65 4EQ Hours - Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Closing Date - Wednesday 11th November 2020. To be considered for this position you will need to attach your cv, cover letter and answer the pre-screening questions Veolia is looking for a Project Engineer graduate to join our team i n Ellesmere Port as part of our Graduate Development Programme. This will be a 2-year programme, where you will get involved in projects within the following areas: Solvent Recovery, Waste to Energy, Clinical Waste & Efficiency, Flue Gas Treatment & Compliance Improvements. What you'll do Main duties will include : Assist in the delivery of a £50m+ Hazardous Waste Programme as part of Veolia's Construction Portfolio Prepare technical specifications and tenders for contract Works Prepare business cases and provide updates for financial reporting Work on projects in conception through to on-site Construction, Commissioning and handover Complete project life cycles Complete risk assessments including, but not limited to HAZID, HAZOP, LOAP & FMEA Construction Site Management on COMAH sites. Technical Reports on improving processes Working with contractors and onsite teams to deliver projects About your Development As part of the Graduate Development Programme, you will go through a structured development programme, undertaking leadership, management, soft skills and safety modules with your graduate cohort. The experience you will need Essential : Degree level qualification in Chemical Engineering. Technically minded with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams. Self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines. Effective communicator and problem solver. Analytical thinker. UK Driving Licence - UK wide project involvement and travel required Desirable : Previous Industrial placement experience Experience in the waste industry Relevant Project Management experience Experience in the construction or the chemical industry CDM experience COMAH experience Previous engineering design experience Basic AutoCAD proficiency Benefits you will receive within this role are The option to join our attractive Veolia pension scheme.
