The day job As our HR Change Officer you will be working alongside the HR Change Manager and Employee Relations team working within the People Hub to provide a helpful, highly responsive and effective advisory service to the business in relation to all Change and TUPE activity. You’ll provide a customer focused and advisory service which supports the long term vision of Sopra Steria and ensure all TUPE and Change projects are completed to agree timescales, professional and in line with TUPE legislation.. Key Responsibilities include: Support the HR Change Manager on organisational change projects and people work streams including but not exhaustive to; TUPE, Redundancy, Recruitment, Redeployment and Governance Ensure Change and TUPE Administration processes are documented and maintained Working with internal teams to support Change and TUPE activity Support the business in relation to complex Change and TUPE queries Organise and Produce TUPE letters and maintain information supporting employee communications Act as second line support to the Senior ER Adviser/TUPE Specialist Aid in the service centre achieving its KPI’s overall supporting the business objectives in this fast paced role Help support TUPE projects and other large scale Change projects Support the Employee Relations Team to achieve a smooth staff transition Run required audit reports in accordance with the Audit Governance for People Administration Advising the business and relevant HR Business Partner on TUPE activities e.g. TUPE and redundancies Skills and experience you will need: A background in HR with the relevant professional knowledge of HR administration procedures, employment law, HR Knowledge of HR Policy and Procedure Knowledge of HR Change & TUPE administration procedures Strong Stakeholder Management with the confidence liaising with stakeholders of all levels Ability to handle large volumes of work with multiple demands Ability to meet deadlines and work unsupervised Positive approach to customer service Be proactive in service delivery and show improvements to systems Able to negotiate and influence in order to bring about behavioural change and to balance the needs of many Reasons why you should apply to us We’re big – really big.
