Junior Financial Controller

Description:

Purpose of the Role: To provide clear insight into factory performance, building key relationships and ensuring the business can react quickly to new challenges. Context of Job and Key Relationships:  Key Relationships – Finance Team and key Factory management teams Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Provide a wide range of reporting to support understanding of business performance Improve transparency of numbers reported Provide pre and post calculations / analysis to aid in business decisions Accountable for all product costings  Keep the company systems up to date with product updates, new product launches, product costs etc Completion of external reporting, where appropriate Project involvement with company-wide process changes and improvements Month end accounting Assist in Year-end audit  Creation of forecasts for the Group Analysis for Group requests Ad-hoc project work To carry out any other tasks commensurate with this post Build relationships between Finance and other areas of the business  Qualifications / Experience : Previous 2-3 years of accounts experience (ideally within factory accounts)  Part CIMA or ACCA qualified  Excellent Microsoft Excel skills Good communication skills – ability to communicate appropriately at all levels to both finance and non-finance colleagues Good time management and organization skills Positive attitude with a professional and confident manner Strong level of attention to detail Flexible with a can-do attitude Proactive and Inquisitive nature Comfortable working independently and in teams
