Community Partner - Pirate Studios, North London. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual rooted deeply in North London's music scene. Whether you're a live music connoisseur or a Podcast aficionado - we want to hear from you. On a 2 month, part-time freelance contract, we're looking for a candidate who'll be able to use their 'black book' of local music contacts to help embed the new Pirate Studios location within the music and podcast communities in Tottenham and Camden. You'll be meeting up with local music societies, spreading the word at music stores, organising online community events - anything that helps project the community focus of the upcoming Pirate Studios locations in Tottenham and Camden. The role will have key input into different departments across the company. We're looking for passionate, driven and music-loving individuals who are keen to further their network within the local scene and beyond. Who are we? Pirate Studios is the world's largest network of music studios. We operate over 400 rehearsal, DJ and production studios across the UK, US and mainland Europe with an innovative, tech-centred 24/7 model. But we don't just stop at studio hire. Pirate Studios runs regular live streams unearthing the best in new music, festival stage takeovers, nationwide talent search programmes and ambassadorship arrangements with high profile artists. We've rapidly grown to encompass an international community of 120,000 creatives in the 4 years since the company was founded; we're going from strength to strength and growing fast. Happy to become the face of the new Pirate Studios locations in North London Excellent knowledge of the local music & podcast scenes - whether you specialise in live music, podcast, club music, or all. Well-connected within the local music and podcast communities in North London. Comfortable creating & maintaining relationships with local partners Experience within the music industry (not essential but will be beneficial) A willingness to go the extra mile to push the Pirate Studios message far and wide Comfortable with MS Office and its Google Suite equivalents What will you be doing? Utilising your existing network of contacts to firm the Pirate Studios footing in the local community Liaising with music societies, music schools/colleges, music stores and the like to spread the good word Organising community-building events to promote the Pirate Studios ethos of being all about the artists Working with PS staff on adapting our model and product for the local artistic community Acting as a stakeholder throughout the launch process, with influence on decision-making and strategy Ensuring we support our customers during the launch period, welcoming them into the PS community Benefits Job Type: Part-time, Freelance Contract Salary: £100 per day
