Job Description Product Manager - Import Finance Our client is one of Europe's fastest-growing fintech companies offering Trade Finance, International Payments, Currency Accounts and FX Risk Management. As a company they are too young for bureaucracy and instead simply believe in getting things done. Trade Finance has been a successful driver of the businesses growth. They are now looking for the right person to join the expanding Product Management function to help build and scale the Import Finance product globally. The ideal candidate is someone who has good initiative, is hands on and can hit the ground running to help them achieve the expected growth. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be responsible for supporting the growth of existing and new products and have exposure to all areas of the product working with Risk, Legal, Data, Tech, Finance, Sales and Marketing teams: * Help deliver on the vision, goals, KPIs and improvement initiatives within Import Finance * Work on the product roadmap and help with its delivery * Work closely with Finance and Risk to drive the sustainable growth of the book * Collaborate with Data, Sales and Marketing to optimise the product impact * Work with Tech and Operations to ensure a seamless UX * Keep up to date with market developments and competitors, ensuring the product offering remains competitive REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: * University degree in a relevant subject (business, finance, etc...), Masters a plus * 3+ years of experience managing a Lending product for a Bank/Lender * Successfully worked on new product features, turning them into reality * Experience in the financial sector. FX, Lending or Payments preferred * Understanding of SMEs requirements and underlying risks * Experience with trade finance products an advantage * Experience working with tech, operations and sales teams * Understanding of software development including Agile * Strong commercial acumen and customer focus * Ability to make data-driven decisions * Good initiative and hands on approach THE OPPORTUNITY: This is the chance to play a significant role in helping a successful, established, global, growing fintech continue to improve, diversify and expand whilst taking the career opportunities all of that can offer. The company is head quartered in London but offer full remote working so the successful applicant can be based anywhere in the UK. You'll be paid a basic salary of up to £80,000 PA dependent upon experience plus annual discretionary bonus.
