SEN Teacher (Primary)
As the New Year begins, SEN Schools remain open to support vulnerable learners. A Special Needs School in Nottingham is looking for a SEN Teacher to support a lively and lovely KS2 class (years 3, 4, 5) on a Supply basis (initially 2 week period but there is an opportunity that can lead to a longer placement). The school support primary-aged learners who have a variety of individual needs. A significant number of the pupils have a diagnosis of Autism, and there is a small number of learners with profound and multiple learning difficulties, some with additional physical and sensory disabilities. The school hosts excellent facilities such as a hydrotherapy/swimming pool, specialist music therapy, soft play and sensory rooms and beautiful sensory garden. Start: Immediate Start Contract : Full-time, Supply (2 weeks) Pay : £100.00 - £150.00 per day (dependant on experience) In order to meet the criteria for this role, you will need to have the following: * UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) * A minimum of 12 months experience teaching * Good communication skills and excellent classroom management * A genuine passion for teaching and encouraging children's learning and development * Adaptability, flexibility and patience What you will receive in return: * Competitive pay rates (£100 - £150 per day) - PAYE Scheme * Ongoing support and guidance from an SEND consultant with specialist knowledge * Work with a variety of schools in the East Midlands area * The opportunity to enhance your CPD portfolio If you have the relevant experience and are looking for a flexible role within a school, then this could be the job for you!
