Job description Eden Brown Education is working with a school based in Oldham who provide specialist education for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH). They currently have an opportunity for a Specialist SEND Teacher to join them. Requirements: - The successful candidate will have operated at Deputy Head or above ideally in an SEMH environment and be able to provide support to the Head Teacher with a focus on teaching and learning. - The candidate must be confident to identify and provide evidence-based assessment of the schools performance and its strategies for improving teaching and learning. - The role will be responsible for measuring and monitoring data linked to teaching and learning so an attention to detail and previous experience in this type or work would be ideal. - Excellent knowledge of Dfe and Ofsted standards would be beneficial in relation to expectations and any changes that are implemented. - The successful candidate will be involved in other activities such as learning walks, work scrutiny, leadership meetings, curriculum scrutiny and discussion with pupils. - Supporting children on a 1:1 basis and small groups when needed. - The candidate must be able to liaise with teachers, support staff and parents effectively. - Must have QTS or other recognised teaching qualification. - Must possess a current DBS registered with the update service or be prepared to apply for a new one (Free of charge with Eden Brown) - Be eligible to work in the UK To be considered for this excellent opportunity, please send an up to date CV asap.
