Senior Backend Developer Fully Remote

Our client, a leader in the social media space based in main land Europe are looking for a fully remote Senior Back End Developer to join their growing team and work on their app which currently has over 1.5 million daily users!

Our client is changing the way people connect and adding genuine value to the social media space, they operate under a results not hours basis and are looking for a developer who is extremely comfortable with PHP 7 to work with them on complex, full spectrum development.

The successful candidate will be working on award winning apps, mobile APIs, data processing and taking ownership of their work in an agile environment.

Core technical requirements for this Senior Back End Developer Fully Remote;

Extensive experience with PHP 7- This key PHP is their main language
Ideally you will have used reactor-pattern implementations such as amphp
Some of their newer services are written in Kotlin with Spring Boot
As a developer you are not discouraged by services such as Cassandra or Kafka
You will not be a focused on a single language and will experience in another language apart from PHP such as: Java, Python, Scala, C#, C etcYou must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the want to work on complex projects in a technical team over 50% of the company are engineers.!
