GO Developer X2 Location: Remote / Bristol or Reading Duration: 6 Months Rate: £70.00 per hour Our client has an opportunity for X2 Software Engineers (specialising in GO) to join the team on an initial 6 month contract basis to undertake software development tasks associated with the Digital Trust secure digital solution development activities. The Software Developer is expected to support the Digital Trust Portfolio Lead, Portfolio Engineering Manager and Product Design Authority in the proposal and development of software applications in line with the Product Development policy and agreed customer requirements. Key Responsibilities and Tasks: Responsible for delivery of agreed tasks to executable software components Produce high quality design specifications for the software under change Adherence to the departments development governance to ensure application of best practice Reporting of Engineering progress to the Digital Trust Engineering Manager Skills & Experience: Software Development using GO, JAVA, HTML5, Angular JS, ReactJS, C#, C++ Secure Coding - OWASP Embedded Linux and Secure Boot Cloud Docker, Kubernetes & Cloud Deployment Azure Services Software development using the Rhapsody UML (8.1.5 preferred) design tool Knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, HTTP/S Knowledge of cryptographic processes Desirable Experience of the GIT configuration management tool Experienced in working within an Agile team using the Scrum methodology and JIRA Experience of developing drivers for interfacing to equipment Crypto Expertise **Due to the nature of client and project, to be considered for this role you must hold or be eligible to gain SC Clearance**
