YOUR ROLE The key focus of this role is simple– selling cars!For the last 2 years,Mercedes-Benz were the number one premium automotive brand based on unit salesso it crucial that you help us to remain at the top.You will be the face and the voice of thebrand, welcoming, advising and supporting customers through their journey towardspurchasing a used Mercedes-Benz Car. You will deliver exceptionalcustomer service as you contact existing and passive customers, maintaining anopen customer file in order to maximise sales leads and ultimately convert tosales.You will be a product expert whocan comfortably hold in depth sales discussions with prospective customers –providing information and advice on not only vehicles, equipment andaccessories, but also our finance, insurance and ancillary products (eg servicepackages). The way you conduct yourselfduring these discussions is critical to your success.Maintaining an exceptional level of customerservice will drive not only satisfaction but also long-term loyalty andretention. Other key responsibilities inthis fantastic role include: Promoting sales both within the showroom andoutside of the sales area Developing, establishing and fosteringcontacts within all business departments to support sales Welcoming, advising, calling on andsupporting customers Concluding sales contracts and making anyrequired amendments in line with the Mercedes-Benz Retail Group sales process Managing orders in progress and supervisingorder processing Maintaining company standards and controls Handing over vehicles to customers Continuousplanning and targeting of the acquisition of new customers Supporting withthe design of exhibition space, product placement and sales events Recording customer satisfactionand initiating relevant measures ABOUT YOU We are looking for anexperienced Sales person, preferably with experience within the automotiveindustry or within a high value, premium retail sales environment.
